With the Navy, came the safety of base enclosure:
Wake up at 0400. Stretch. Run around base until gym opened at 0530
Essentially zero competing obligations / priorities that time of day to thwart workout
Had time to research workouts and create lifting/running routines
Since separating:
No longer have the safety of the base to be out running before daylight
Limited time / attention to create new workouts
Workout time now competing with:
Work, professional development, and home commitments
Commuting between – home/work/gym
When Covid-19 hit in the spring of 2020:
Those with an established home gym didn’t experience disruption to their exercise. Others’ access was completely severed.

Mike Volkin, creator of Stack52 exercise products based on deck of 52 cards. The flexibility of his design eases keeping things ‘fresh’. Each product spans ‘beginner’ to ‘advanced’. This product design removes the “create new routine” burdens.
